The Art of Resin Jewelry by Sherri Haab
Combine this with the Charles Godin book’s chapters on the subject and you’ll be able to do practically all there is to do with resins, epoxies and plastics.
Sherri Haab is an amazingly prolific writer — if you only know her from her metal clay books you might not realize how many she has for kids and other subjects.
My theme for the day, with all these reviews, seems to be that “can-do” approachablility factor. Lots of people look at resin casting and such and it seems a bit daunting. Like many things, it seems more complicated than it is.
This book will give you the confidence to try these methods, the information you need and the where-to-buy-what.
The resources section of the book will keep you busy on-line, following up on all the intersting sources!
