Coloring Base Metals: A Practical Guide by Christine Cox
Foreward by Tim McCreight

Looking for more options than just liver of sulphur? This exellent little book covers how to get a variety of colors on copper and brass, including blues, greens, a range of oranges and reds.

The author covers using commercial applications, but the book is primarily on the non-toxic side of things. She also covers paint and colored pencils.

The best part about the book is the full color pictures. This will get you inspired to bring more color into your work!

Christine is not only a metalsmith but also a book artist, and she uses metal as assorted book parts, such as covers. Her website is Volcano Arts.
