Metal clay artist Jennifer Smith-Righter has created this lovely bee pendant as a way to raise awareness and funds for the bees.  Jennifer explains,

“Agriculture is so important to the economy of California and were facing a crisis with Bee Colony Collapse Disorder.

University of California at Davis is working on research to understand the mystery and see what can be done to stop this disaster.

I decided to do what I can to try to assist in the research and so I’ve created a bee for bee research. All profits go to the institution.”
