Two new sites have come up at about the same time, offering classes or lessons on specific jewelry techniques.
The first is JewelryLessons.com from Eni Oken, it’s a relaunch of her previous site where she sold her tutorials, plus more. There’s a community and you can sell your own tutorials through her site as well, cool concept. Though Eni’s focus in the past has been wire working, it looks like this site will include more projects beyond wirework.
Here’s a link to a free tutorial on using a tumbler: jewelrylessons.com.
At the second site, Beaducation, they’re selling “classes,” and they’re pricier than Eni’s site, but they do include video shot at the “Shootio” at Beaducation. Owner Lisa Niven Kelly has it set up to make it super easy for you — you can buy a class and the materials kit to go with it if you want.
Current classes include 9 free ones. Safety when torch firing PMC is a free class (click here). Other topics include wire wrapping, working with seed beads, crochet with wire and beads, and more.
Check out Beaducation here: beaducation.com.
Both sites look great, check them out. Would love to hear about it if you take a class or buy a tutorial. Want to write a review here? Let me know, post a comment or write to me, thanks!
