I love this picture of the huge pile of snow on the corner of the garage roof, those layers.

Here’s a picture of our backyard snow gauge:

Between the blizzard, sick kids, a board meeting and a family birthday, it wasn’t looking good for this week’s Ring-a-Week.

It would have been easy to beg off, after all, I’m ahead, especially after doing Ring-a-day week before last.

But I didn’t want to. I didn’t want to lose momentum.

There’s always time for iron wire, I figured. So here’s RAW 18/52, front and back.

Turns out RAW is also a great way to use up some of those beads you have lying around that you bought for some reason, but can’t remember what that reason was… These are pewter.

And since I was there at my bench, I added a little more oil paste to an experimental ring that’s taking for-ever, and then popped that into the kiln.

I was inspired this week by this new book, due out March 1st, but a review copy landed on my porch yesterday:

Full review coming soon, but it’s a thumbs up.
