What exactly is a Squidoo Lens and how does it differ from a regular blog? I have a blog and I'm making a website, but how would a Squidoo Lens help me?

Hi, great question.

Check out Squidoo at http://www.Squidoo.com

here's one of my lenses:

http://www.Squidoo.com/promoteyourart

A Squidoo Lens is a mini website on a specific topic, such as you, your art, a recipe for terrific chocolate chip cookies, whatever. Because it can include links to your blog and your website, it can drive traffic to your sites.

People may be more likely to find your Squidoo lens than your website because, apparently, Squidoo Lenses get high rankings on google. One Squidoo author calls her Lenses "google juice" for her sites.

Thanks for the great question!
