Jig for Sawing Jump Rings Open
Today’s guest post by Marc Zyla takes the form of a photo essay. Sawing open jump rings is fiddley, and one of those tasks that drives metalsmithing students nuts. This jig looks like a great solution.

Thanks Marc!

I agree every metalsmithing student should know how to make jumprings by hand. But… I couldn’t live without my Koil Kutter! I have friends who have purchased other brands of ring makers (Jump Ringer etc) and have been very unhappy with their choices. The KK rules!!!!
