I’m not usually trendy, but I’ve just started co-working, which is quite the trend.
Co-working spaces are rental spaces where you can pay by the day, the week or the month and have some level of an office and co-workers. It’s a step up from the camping out in a coffee shop thing.
While there are many fine businesses where you can rent a space, I’m in a free co-working group. Check Meetup if you’re looking for a free/affordable co-working group.
Even though you need to be in the studio most of the time, a co-working meetup/accountability group might be just the thing for you – an appointment with yourself and your group to get those dreaded office tasks done and even get feedback, test out ideas and offer support.
It can help to shake things up, maybe get away from the computer, do different tasks.

This is so true! Working at a home office is a lot more difficult than many people think. It’s way too easy to be lazy and unproductive when working from home. As soon as I joined a Coworking space my productivity went way up. Thanks Elaine
