Tools for working with clay

This super thin stainless steel blade can really save your pieces!
Sometimes this tool is the only way you can pick something up and
move it without damaging it. It's called a blade, but it is not for
cutting.

I have a tool like this that I bought ten years ago at an estate sale. All my students love this tool. At every class, it gets passed around. Finally, I realized I had to find more. I searched high and low until I found the perfect one.
I use it to apply and smooth out slip and to "file" in tight spots. I also use it to cut, especially inside a plastic template like Shaplets. The back end is great for gently prying PMC out of a mold. No PMC artist should be without this tool!

If you do a lot of carving of PMC in its bone dry state, you'll want to have these new scrapers. Both have sharp edges for easy cutting or carving.
Specialized shapes - Handles are octagonal so they don't roll away and grooved for ease in gripping. High grade, non-rust, non-corrosive stainless steel.

SALE! Available in fine or very fine
Use these precision tools to gently ream out a hole in your metal clay. Sometimes you make a functional or decorative piercing in a piece that's not perfect, but you know it's better to stop fussing with it until the clay is bone dry. Then you can use one of these tools to ever so gently perfect that area.

You know when you roll out a coil of PMC, sometimes your fingers make the coil come out uneven? Instead, roll with this tool for smoother, more consistent coils. 6 inches.
