I never remember to go look at the Craft Zine Blog so I really enjoy getting the paper copy of the magazine, which is relatively new.

Even though the majority of projects aren’t exactly jewelry making, they connect up, especially if you work in non-traditional materials. Issue 2 covers needle felting and linoblock cutting, which you can use to make your own original texture plates for metal clay.

It’s nice to be exposed to so many different mediums and techniques. Their directions are complete, though not exhaustive, which makes it seem more approachable. Reading any of their articles you go, “Oh, I could do that.”
