Review: The Penland Book of Jewelry
The nice folks at Lark sent me a copy of The Penland Book of Jewelry: Master Classes in Jewelry Techniques and it is absolutely gorgeous and inspiring. It’s a a maker’s kind of book — interviews with the metalsmiths, how they do what they do, and then images of the process of putting their work together.
A really different kind of craft book, not a standard step by step book, and definitely not a beginner book. Gorgeous full color and now in paperback.
