Welcome to All Things Metal Clay, a wide ranging discussion of, well, all things metal clay, and oodles more.
While this blog started as a shopping blog, with advice on where to buy what, I have since expanded into more areas. I still offer reviews and suggestions on metal clay and polymer clay tools, books, cameras and photography equipment.
In addition, I cover business issues, such as home shows and online selling; Jewelry Tourism, techniques, sources and educational options for those who want to learn jewelry making.

About Your Blogger
Elaine Luther is an artist, writer and specialty tool manufacturer. Elaine began making jewerly in junior high school, no, before that, re-making jewelry and projects involving fishing swivels.
She began studying metalsmithing in college at the University of Iowa. She continued her studies at Columbia College and in two apprenticeships.
She began teaching metalsmithing in 1992 and has taught at numerous art centers including Lillstreet Art Center and the Indianapolis Art Center. She began teaching Precious Metal Clay in 1997 and was certified by the PMC Guild in 1999. She became a level one instructor with Art Clay in 2005.
Elaine has been interviewed in articles in Bead and Button, The Crafts Report, AJM (published by the Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America), Studio PMC, and Fusion. Her jewelry has been pictured in Studio PMC and she has had articles published in Studio PMC. She has had two step by step articles published in Art Jewelry Magazine, and one step by step article published by Art Jewelry Magazine online.

I don’t, but you can have a rubber stamp made by ReadyStamps.com, photopolymer stamps made at Boxcar Press, or you can make your own photopolymer stamps quickly, easily and afforadably with my JustRite Home Stamping Kit.

Oh, thanks for loving the tool! That makes me happy. Linda at Naturescape Studio sells an alternative product, which I like. And she has them in a bunch of different shapes. Also, Celie Fago makes a nested tubing set, not sure where you can buy that, perhaps AllCraft in NYC.
