How to Make Fingerprint Jewelry by Maggie Bergman

Maggie Bergman, whose name you may recognize from her excellent tutorials on making photopolymer plates, has a new book out, How to Make Fingerprint Jewelry, which is a great idea for a book, since lots of people want to know how to do it well.

I haven’t seen the book, but judging by her free tutorials and videos on the subject, it looks to be good.

She shows the best way to take fingerprints, using three different methods and how to prepare a fingerprint in Photoshop (or Pixlr) for making a photopolymer plate.

The book includes 10 different projects, all quite cute, on jewelry to make including fingerprints.

And if you want fingerprint jewelry, but don’t want to make it yourself, there are a number of sellers on Etsy making custom ones in a variety of styles. It’s quite the popular niche!
